![]() In my opinion, Roxio should make a true patch to fix this. ![]() Took me a whole lot of time to figure out just how to get it back on without crashing my machine. I got mine to install right early on, but found that this particular version wouldn't run right on my machine, hence, I made the bad mistake of trying to uninstall and reload it. Loaded the very first time and operates just like it should straight out of the box. Before that I bought the Pinnacle Studio MovieBoxHD and am now really enjoying it. ![]() Yes, this is far more complicated than it should be, but I hung in there and made it work just for the challenge of it. It often crashed my machine and would do some kind of a rollback that left behind all the useless stuff. Now I would try plugging in the usb device and start praying it worked. Do that option and maybe you will get the rest of it to install properly.Īt this point you should be able to open the program and see all the options in it. If that is the case try to install again from the DVD, but now you should see a new option to just repair the install. At this point you may have a short cut on your desktop for V2D, but it probably won't have all the programs once you open it. Then go to Roxio's website and get the update and download and install it. You should then get a halfway install as I call it. ![]() Restart and then open the folder and run the setup.exe file. Do not plug that thing in until the very end or you may get immediate windows crashes like I did. Uninstall the usb device in the device manager in both the "other devices" and under the "video, sound, and game devices". That may or may not shut down the antivirius if you are running some. Shut down all start up programs by using the msconfig program. Try copying the disc into a folder on your desktop. ![]()
